    Hi Wayne

Have a question for you, and perhaps you can speak of it with Brad as a topic. It is about prayer. Not quite sure how to express myself, but as I am endeavouring to walk in absolute trust in Father, I am not quite sure what to do with my “wish list” prayers. If I tell Him what I would like, I feel that I am “doing it again” by dictating somehow what I want, instead of what He would like to do. An example is we are in a drought here in our neck of South Africa, and now, do I pray earnestly for rain, or do I trust that He loves me, He knows we need rain, He will take care of me with or without the precipitation!

I am trying to get away from the “Lord I need this today and that today, I am your child so I am entitled to it” old way of thinking to “Lord your will be done” But then what about prayer in what I suppose is the traditional way? Making our requests known ….. you have not because you ask not…..

I would love some clarity on this.

    Regards
