Future Travel to Encourage People On the Journey

As my work on the book winds down this summer, it looks like some more travel ahead as fall rolls around.  I’m putting some of the finishing touches to the final chapters now and then will take one more spin through the whole thing before sending it out for editing. Hopefully I won’t have to blow it up and rebuild it again.

I’m already committed to the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State on July 6, and now in Clovis, CA on July 26.  If you’d like to join us at either event, please see our Travel Page for more information. These are all conversations to help others process their journey in learning to live loved and connect in more relational ways with other believers.

Also, it looks like trips are in the works this fall for

Atlanta, GA  •  Houston, TX  •  San Antonio, TX  •  Austin, TX  •  Kentucky

Even though these aren’t final and we don’t have dates for these yet, I’m letting folks know in case you are in those areas and want to tag on to the trip with anything else while I’m there.  It helps to know that before we get tickets nailed down.

  1. We would like to connect with you when you come to Austin.  We can eithier come to where you are or we would be willing to have a group for fajitas at our place.

  3. Hi Wayne,

I must admit that I rarely have the time to look on your blog, though I do love to listen to the God Journey podcast.  I am the same Tammy who wrote to you somewhat recently (January? – a portion of whose letter you quoted on a podcast – I think it was called Finding Rest in His Love/).  I live in Houston, and would be overjoyed to get to be a part of any of your meetings down that way, in the fall.  I have been on this journey for about 7 years, and would never trade it, even though I have yet to meet in person, someone else who shares it.  It has been amazing!!  And, Father has done so much in me!

I was thrilled to hear that you might be that close!  As a matter of fact, I’d be happy to offer you a place to stay when you’re here, should it be necessary.  I’d relish the time to get to chat, and I believe hubby would enjoy being around you also.  Though we have 4 kids, the youngest is about to turn 8, and they are the most amazing and sweet-natured kids in the world, if I do say so myself.  We have plenty of room!  Just sayin’!    😉

Also, and importantly, I’d be interested to know with whom in my area, you might have contacts (Why I assume you would be coming, in the first place).  It’d be great to connect with someone else on this journey who might live relatively close by.

I would love to know as soon as you are able to get any plans firmed up.  I will remain hopeful, yet trusting Father to work out the details.

Thanks for doing what you do.  My life is different because of it!!

  5. While listening to a podcast yesterday, I heard you mention that you may be in the Atlanta area. I’d love to join any conversation you may have while here.
