Something we talked about last week in KC continues to resound in my heart. “Love cannot be taught.”
For all the books, articles, sermons, and podcasts that have been shared about it, Father’s love has to be caught. That’s often first modeled by someone who cares about you who expects nothing in return, and then it is finally revealed in our hearts by the Spirit.
If you know that love, share it freely with others. If you don’t, don’t make the mistake of thinking it will come through books or teaching. It is a revelation of the Spirit and, even when you can’t taste it yet, know that God is rearranging what he needs to you in your heart so that you can recognize that love inside your own heart. Sometimes that takes a while, especially if you didn’t have examples of that love when you were younger.
