This page is designed to help first-time visitors find their way around our web site. After reviewing any of the features below, please hit your BACK button to return to this page and continue the tour.
- Wayne's Blog - Updated every few days, this is the latest encouragement, news and commentary from Lifestream and from Wayne's own personal journey. Don't forget to check back through the blog archives as well.
- Books and Audio Collections - Many people have found Wayne's books and audio recordings to be a helpful resource in learning what it means to live deeply in Christ and to share that life with other believers and the word. Many of them are available free as PDF downloads. Our most important audio series, Transitions, is available for free in mp3 format and will give you a complete overview as to what this site is all about. You can listen to samples in the Audio Library.
- BodyLife - This Lifestream's regular newsletter designed to encourage people in this incredible journey. You can subscribe to it be email and read back through past articles either in the chronological order in which they were written, or find the articles that cover topics that interest you.
- Wayne's Travels - Only so much can be learned through reading books and listening to teachings. Often, face-to-face interaction can be so helpful for individuals and groups to find greater freedom and joy in living out this journey. You can look here for more information on connecting with Wayne's travels.
- The Lifestream Community - this email list, hosted by Yahoo, allows people who are sorting through the kinds of issues prominent on the Lifestream site to interact with me and with each other.
Wayne's Other Websites
- The God Journey - Wayne's weekly podcast with Brad Cummings to facilitate an ever-expanding conversation of those learning to think outside the box of organized religion. Listen on-line, download to an mp3 player or burn a CD of the webcast and enjoy the conversation.
- So You Don't Want to Go to Church Anymore - Wayne's online book has been completed and is now availble as a free e-book at JakeColsen.com, or you can order it from us. This parable asks the reader to consider what if one of the early church apostles visited Christianity in the 21st Century. In this compelling story, Jake's world is turned upside down as a stranger stirs the deepest passions of his heart.
- Windblown Media - Wayne is the co-owner of Windblown Media which publishes books and other resources to encourage those who are on a spiritual journey of learning to live in the Father's love.
- BridgeBuilders - Wayne's work as a peacemaker in public education helping people work together across our cultural divide.
If you want to know more about me, check out About Wayne Jacobsen; and if you want to know what fuels the things we do and places I travel check out Our Passion. If there is any way we can encourage you, and the believers you hang with, to love God more and live more authentically please don't hesitate to ask us. I have listed some of the topics my teaching usually centers around and some of the special presentations we use for seminars and retreats under Seminars and Visits. You can even listen to a couple of snippets of my teaching from the Audio Library. My real joy, however, is to facilitate more interactive sessions where we spend some time together over a few days discovering what might be doing and sorting out the real issues that you're confronting. I'd be happy to pray about any connection God might want to make that we offer mutual encouragement in his life. If you want to see where my travels take me and if I'll be in your corner of the world anytime soon, you can check Where's Wayne? You can also see some of the places I've been in our Photo Gallery.
Many people are being drawn to this site right now because of my book, He Loves Me! The Relationship God's Always Wanted With You, which is likely the most important book I'll ever write. I have been excited at the reports I'm hearing of how God is using it to draw people to himself and to set them free from some of the motivations that religion has used to keep them captive. I have also written five other books, and have a number of audio CD collections and you can find out more about those and how to order them through Lifestream on our Book Page and Audio Collections.
The best way to stay up to date on what is going on around here is to bookmark Wayne's Blog or subscribe to the RSS feed and stay in touch with his thoughts, travels and activities. We design it to provide regular encouragement for people on this journey. Wayne also co-hosts a regular podcast at The God Journey, to encourage those thinking outside the box of organized religion.
BodyLife is our flagship publication that we do periodically to encourage people in the journey of relational Christianity. You can start here to review the current issue complete with the article, letters, extras, announcements and Wayne's schedule. You will also find instructions if you would like to subscribe to this free journal. If you can access it via the web, please sign up for our web version. It saves us a lot of time folding, stapling and labeling. We will simply send you an email notice whenever a new issue is published with hyper links to take you right to it.
If you'd like to read past articles, from BodyLife you can either do so in chronological order or by content. Read and print to your heart's content. All articles on this site are copyrighted to prevent abuse for profit. You can feel free to download and copy any article that you would like to give away to others. Please include the copyright notice at the bottom of anything you print and copy.
To keep abreast of current projects around Lifestream check out Ministry News. We also maintain a page listing Favorite Books that can encourage people in relational Christianity, with links to Amazon.com. Finally, we use a page on this site to help people find opportunities for fellowship outside organized religion. Our Connections page includes some email addresses for people in various cities. Though many of those listed there I know personally, there are many others that I don't. We make no attempt to authenticate whether or not these people or groups are accurate portrayals of relational Christianity. Please don't be afraid to ask questions and look with a discerning eye to see if what God might be doing among them.
Enjoy the site. We're glad you came visiting and pray that God will use some of what's here to encourage you on your own journey.
