*May take awhile to download, but the wait might be worth it.

I don't get the time to update this as I would like, but this will at least give you an idea of some of the places we've gone and the people we have met. I don't consider my self a traveling kind of guy, but I have been able to see things I never imagined I would see.

New England Mill

I have been blessed to travel many times into New England and meet with scores of different groups of people from Maine to the Catskills in New York. I've been out on Cape Cod and on Martha's Vineyard. This is the mill at the Wayside Inn near Sudbury where I have helped with a number of seminars from the Crossroads bunch. Four times I've been there during fall color, and there is truly no greater sight on this earth.

Isreal

In January of 1997 I spent 8 days in Israel, teaching a tour for The Israel Tour Company. The path on the left is 2,000 years old and Jesus would have used it three times the evening beore he was crucified. In the center, I'm having the opportunity to share about the mission of the cross in the Garden of Gesthemane. On the right in Temple Mount, the same place where Abraham offered Issac and where the temple was built. The Dome of the Rock occupies that spotnow and the Western Wall can be seen below. I would love to take a tour again through Israel when we find enough people who want to go...

College

The moments I get with college-aged kids are some of my favorite. This generation is looking for answers that go deeper than the religious answers can provide. On the left, I'm with a YWAM DTS in Kona, Hawaii and I am pretending to be Peter on the day after the resurrection They are trying to console and counsel me after I denied Jesus. It really helps people understand the difference between grace-mindedness and appeasement thinking in our walk with God. On the right I'm speaking at a spiritual life retreat of Asian-American students from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CA.

Alaska

I've been to Alaska three times now and am blessed by the people I've met and the hunger they have to walk in God's light and joy even in the midst of resistance from the religious climate in Anchorage. The scenery there is everything you would expect it to be and more!

I went to Singapore in the summer of 95 and again in September of 97 where I teach a class on the theology of church life for the Bethany School of Missions, which engages students from all over Africa, the Asian subcontinent and the Orient. In the middle, I'm sharing with the class my "Theology of Church Function". Singapore At left are students from the 1997 class and on the right is a gathering of believers who meet in a bomb shelter.

In the Spring of 1999 Sara and I were invited to Europe. We began our stay in Wales where we saw some delightful countryside and met some incredible people (above). Europe After a few days there we crossed over through the Chunnel to spend three weeks in France. We had been invited by the Assemblies of God in France to speak in the churches of southern France and address the national pastor's convention. More Europe Their publishing arm, Viens et Vois, had just released a French translation of Wayne's book, The Vineyard, entitled Dans La Vigne de Mon Pere. That trip coincided with our 24th wedding anniversary, which we celebrated over three days in Paris.

In the summer of 1995 we had a life-changing experience in the Land Down Under. AustraliaIn Benloch outside of Melbourne we met some kangaroos, some wonderful people, and discovered things about Father and the work of Jesus on the cross that has changed our lives ever since. Wayne has also returned to the land of Oz in the summer of 2003 and the Fall of 2004.

In 1989 it was off to Bombay, India and Kathmandu, Nepal with YWAM's School of Church Leadership. NepalWe met with indigeneous church leaders in both regions and shared with them the dangers of following the western model of religious obligation and institutionalism. India In the photo at left a group of us had rented dirt bikes and headed out to see the Himilayas. What an awesome day! The top photo of Bombay shows the tremendous disparity of wealth and poverty and every turn in that country.

In 1992 a team of us from Visalia ventured into Sophia, Bulgaria and into Tirane, Albania to work with the YWAM School of Church Leadership. The middle picture shows historic Sophia. The picture on the left shows some of our team in the square in Tirane where a revolution had toppled the communist government only 5 months before. On the right I stand in front of the flat where we stayed with a generous family of Albanians.
