This, You've Got to Read If You Haven't Already

If you have not read The Shack, you’re missing what I think is one of the best books that’s been written in the last 40 years. It is fiction, but it is one of the most creative explorations of God’s love and intimate care in the midst of unspeakable tragedies. Religious publishers turned this book down initially, so Windblown Media was birthed to bring this wonderful book into print. It is now available at Amazon.com and discriminating bookstores. There’s also a rumor circulating that The Shack will also be available in a special hardback edition for holiday season gift-giving.

He Loves Me Released in New Edition

We are also excited to announce the publication of the second edition of He Loves Me: Learning to Live in the Father’s Affection. With a new cover that has better appeal to masculine readers and some significant edits throughout, we are pleased to give this book new life. I’ve often said this “the most significant book I’ll ever write” and added a new Introduction and a new final chapter, “Living Loved”, to help those who have been captured by the message of the book, but still have trouble knowing how to live in the reality of Father’s love in their daily lives. The Naked Church to Go Out of Print

We only have 83 copies left as of this writing and we do not have plans to republish it unless there is a resurgence of demand. The book is available for free download on our website as a PDF file, but if you want a hard copy, you may want to order one soon. What I most wants to say about the church is now in the Jake Colsen book, So You Don’t Want to Go to Church Anymore. and in a new book I am currently writing entitled, Finding Church.

Also, the Jake book has been published in Germany by Glory World and the publisher there has told us it has already become his best seller. You can also order the English version there.

Canadian Hunger

What’s up with Canada? Sara and I spent 10 days in Ontario in July, and I will be going to Alberta for a week in September and then spend another 10 days in British Columbia. There is a lot of hunger and a lot of people looking for a more authentic and liberating faith among our neighbors to the north.

On a personal note

Sara and I are excited about re-grandparenting as our daughter is expecting another girl in November. ❧ That’s it for this issue. May God lead you on in him!
